Dive into a world where weirdness is wonderful, as immersive art and ocean science reveal the hidden wonders of Earth's mysterious twilight zone.
It's dark. It's deep. It's alive. Twilight Zone: Hidden Wonders of the Ocean invites visitors to descend beneath the ocean's surface and explore one of Earth's largest and least-understood habitats. Created by ARTECHOUSE Studio in collaboration with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, the exhibition transforms groundbreaking ocean research into a visually stunning experience blending digital art, interactive technology and an original musical score. At its center is a 24-minute immersive cinematic journey inspired by diel vertical migration—the largest daily animal migration on Earth. Seven interactive installations and six extended-reality activations further explore bioluminescent creatures, environmental DNA, sonar technology, ocean robotics and the twilight zone's vital role in marine ecosystems and climate regulation.
