A Procedurally Generated Comedy feat. immersive elements, an unscripted guest performer & chatGPT.
The event is a 'lightly immersive' comedy in a traditional theatre space designed to gently welcome traditional audiences into the more interactive and immersive fare. Each performance revolves around the conflict between tradition and progress and features a special guest from the local arts and culture sector background whose favorite classic figure and perspective on the arts procedurally generates variable script segments for each performance. In addition to the use of AR and VR technologies during the performance, the script was co-written with ChatGPT & GPT-3 & the production features live backstage use of ChatGPT to 'augment' performers.
