Get ready to gossip, roleplay, flirt, fight, fall in love, confess your secrets, explore your identity, and confront what it meant to be a teenager online in the 90s. An immersive digital roleplay experience, Strangers on the ‘Net is designed to encourage participants to reconcile the views of their youth with those that they hold in adulthood. Created and facilitated by award-winning game designers from Montreal, Quebec and across North America. In this two-part online role play experience, you are a 16-to-18-year-old teen in 1999 who absolutely loves two things: 1) a well-known and beloved fictional TV show, anime, book series, or videogame, and… 2) text-based roleplay on a chat server called RPFreak.net. Don't miss your chance to travel back to 1999 and revisit your favourite fandom!

About Upintheair Theatre
Upintheair Theatre explores issues and ideas examining the contemporary world around us. With a keen eye on the immediate future, we foster possible futures by producing theatrical works of speculative fiction and by supporting the next live performance generation - those who see it, those who make it, and those who do it.
