A One Act Comedic Opera
The worlds of many opera tropes collide in the form of a farcical modern fairy tale as Guy, Linda, the Reaper, and Ida cross paths and attempt to sort out their tale of love, death, and calamity. This opera asks the audience to question their assumptions: Why must the devil be a man? The tenor be the hero? And why must romantic love conquer all? Set in a contemporary magical forest filled with surprising twists on familiar characters, this fun, fresh aesthetic will be laced with neon and glitter, lots of glitter. Please join us for the world premiere of Reap What You Soul by Gala Flagello on September 5th at 3 PM and 7 PM at the Dance Complex, Complex @ Canal, 650 East Kendall Street, Cambridge, MA 02139. Please note that masks will be required for the entire performance as well as proof of vaccination.
