Puncture The Screen: Data Driven Arts Festival (2026)

A data driven digital art and performance festival run by Chronic Insanity

Puncture The Screen: Data Driven Arts Festival (2026) Immersive Event - Main Image

‘Puncture The Screen’ digital arts festival runs from November 25 – 27 at Broadway Gallery, Nottingham. Some art festivals feature paintings, or sculptures, but ‘Puncture the Screen’ instead champions digital art and performances that use data as their artistic medium. The exhibits will use data to tell stories, interrogate difficult political questions, interact with audiences, and much more. This year's festival has a vibrant mixture of immersive theatre, interactive experiences, visual art, sculpture, and web-based artwork. None of the artwork uses AI data scraping. As it has been for the 4 years we have run the festival, each artwork is created using data derived from public sources, the artist's personal life, or consensually from audience members, when they interact with the experience. Many events at the festival are captioned, audio described, or come with BSL and other access features. Please see puncturethescreen.com for more information. This event is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
