Parabolic Theatre | How We Work

If you're looking to develop your skills in interacting with audiences or making interactive and immersive work, or if you're simply curious and wanting to take a peek behind the curtain, our core creative team will be explaining in-depth how we approach making a new show, what sort of work goes into bringing it to life, and what are the most important things for us in any new project we embark on. There are four main sessions, each exploring a different aspect of creating a show including narrative design, worldbuilding, mechanics and performing, and each session will be led by two of our core creative team, Artistic Director Owen Kingston, and Artistic Associates Zoe Flint, Tom Black and Christopher Styles. The final fifth session will take the form of a Q&A with the core creative team, chaired by Dr Joanna Bucknall of the University of Birmingham
