At If This Were My Dream #1 - a launch party for the Dream Magic podcast - you’ll wander around four of the locations from Going Off Track, the dream featured in episode 1 of the podcast. Hang out in the cult leader encampment, on the psychedelic dance floor, in the derelict lobby of your drug dealer’s apartment building, or in your own messy apartment. Each location will have guidelines for how to participate as if you are actually inside the dream, but just like in a dream, you are always in charge of what you do next. Will you flirt with an attractive stranger? Concoct a hare-brained scheme to get away with the drugs? Become a cult leader? Dance like your brain has melted and you’re reaching next level consciousness? It’s up to you! When you’re finished exploring the dream, come hang out in the Dream Garden with your Dream Witch Julie Balderrama who will guide you through some creative processing of your dream experience. If This Were My Dream #1 is a deliciously weird and dreamy event and celebration to launch the Dream Magic podcast. Dream Magic with host Julie Balderrama, the Lazy Dream Witch and other magical dreamers is a delve into the subconscious and how that influences Waking Life. We start each journey in the podcast with one Dreamer's dream, weaving our way into openings and ahas, then back out again to the "rhymes" - what sounds like the dream - in Waking Life. Next, we tap into the Collective by sharing the dream with a Magical Expert and asking them, "If this were your dream, how would you engage with it?" Finally we land again with the Dreamer to see what new magic unfolded since they dreamed the dream.
