FEAST. (Austin)

Justice is served

FEAST. (Austin) Immersive Event - Main Image

An ancient magical creature disguised as a middle-aged lady has invited you to her dinner party in order to right a few wrongs. An immersive, visceral theatre experience where mythology crashes into pop culture, FEAST. reimagines the Beowulf story as a warning against the rising forces of authoritarianism. It's a dinner party that's also a one-woman show. It's a cry of resistance against tyranny. It's a revenge tale that ends in reconciliation. It's a FEAST. Written by Megan Gogerty, directed by Melissa McKnight, and starring 7-time B. Iden Payne Best Actress winner Katherine Catmull, FEAST. asks - When will Justice be served? The production team includes Amy Lewis (Lighting Design), Johann Solo (Sound Design), Shannon Grounds and Melissa McKnight (Set and Properties Design), with Stage Management by Fernando Lara and House Management by Trey Deason.
