Dinner! Connor and Franny Write a Cookbook
Two clowns improvise a meal with you over Zoom based on ingredients found in your kitchen!
Tired of figuring out what to cook for dinner? Bored with everything Netflix has to offer? Then Francesca Chilcote and Connor Hogan have just the show for you. In Dinner! Franny and Connor Write a Cookbook, two food-obsessed friends help you concoct a meal from the ingredients deep in your pantry while serving up a generous portion of laughs. And, as it is performed over Zoom, you don't even need to dress up to join us for Dinner! Dinner! explores the ways we cope with crises through food, the stories that emerge from those dishes, and demonstrates that you don't need to be a five-star chef to create a great meal.
Audience Role
We will be looking through your pantry and fridge to devise a meal with you. In order to do so, you will need to have something to cook (food) and some tools (stove, pans, pots, knives) to cook it with. Other than that, don’t feel like you have to shop or prepare anything special for this experience. We DO recommend making sure your kitchen is relatively clean and ready for action! You need a device with a camera to video meet. We’ll be meeting on zoom and will follow up shortly with the link for that. Ideally you are on a phone or tablet so you can move it around as needed, as well as flip your video around so you can show us what you are working on. (Putting your phone in a ziplock will also keep it clean of any splashes or spills from the cook) We recommend the use of a tripod or pile of books or stand or anything that allows you to cook “hands free with us.”
