Zoo Quest: Dress Code

From the creators of the nation-wide hit Locked Zoo, the L.A. Zoo is proud to present Zoo Quest: Dress Code! Zoo Quest is and an after-hours, escape room-inspired, zoo-wide series of puzzle solving games in which participants work in teams to solve an elaborate series of puzzle clues across the zoo grounds in a one-of-a-kind adventure. In this game, players explore how appearance — coats, coloration, patterns, and plumage — help a species thrive and survive. THE "DRESS CODE" CHALLENGE This edition's challenge — Dress Code — takes teams through three puzzle chapters: Spots & Stripes: Explore how patterns help animals camouflage themselves, communicate, and stand out in the wild. Change It Up: Discover species that change their appearance through seasons, different stages of life, or in response to their environment. Lookalikes: Uncover the world of mimicry and animals that survive by looking like something, or someone, else. As teams progress through each chapter, they'll uncover fascinating facts about animal adaptations that help them survive in nature and the conservation efforts protecting them in the wild. After the puzzle, guests are invited to stay for keeper talks, visit the apes and primates on exhibit, food trucks, bars, DJs, and more. ZOO QUEST GAME NOTES – BE PREPARED A cell phone is required. Each team will need at least one phone, fully charged, and with a data package. Gameplay tasks are to be completed through the phone. Charging stations and WiFi are not available. Teams of 2 to 6 people are recommended, but solo players are welcome. Larger groups are also welcome and can share or receive an extra game sheet.
