There is no timer, there is no gamemaster watching your every move, there is no “escaping.” In other words, please don’t pull our place apart :) The story unfolds more like a classic point-and-click adventure. There are many vintage and fragile items around, so please be gentle and cautious. COVID SAFETY: The beautiful thing about being in the middle of the desert: complete isolation. During the course of your stay at The Ranch, you are interacting with your group ONLY. The property is cleaned before every stay with Airbnb's updated strict covid-protocol cleaning policy. We encourage all groups to exercise as much Covid safety and precaution themselves before and after their trip. ACCESSIBILITY: While the accommodations are all on the ground level, a couple small steps are required to access the interiors. Certain puzzles utilize different colors. Certain puzzles use sound. Part of the puzzle quest involves movement around the surrounding desert landscape and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. GENERAL SAFETY: The property is permitted through the County of San Bernardino. Every space is fitted with smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguishers, and we provide guidebooks with local emergency contact and hospital information. Part of the experience involves the surrounding natural desert landscape. That means it can be exposed to wild native animals, natural elements and weather events. All guests must explore at their own risk. We urge guests to experience the desert with caution, always having water and proper protective clothing.
