What Are You Afraid Of?

A one-person participatory performance about fear, ritual and coming out the otherside.

What Are You Afraid Of? Immersive Event - Main Image

You have been scheduled for a high-sensitivity emotional diagnostic procedure. According to the Office of Fear, every person carries a fear deep within their nervous system. With the proper equipment, it can be located, categorized, and treated. Your appointment has been prepared. What Are You Afraid Of? is a surreal, darkly humorous immersive performance that invites one participant at a time into a strange institutional process that slowly transforms into a personal ritual of release. Blending psychological satire and participatory theater with symbolic action get ready to explore how to name and transform our fears.

Audience Role

You will move through the space, follow instructions, and interact with performers and objects as part of the experience. No acting skill or preparation is required. At any point you may choose to stop or exit. You are always in control.
