WASTELAND WEEKEND is a 5-day post-apocalyptic party in the California Mojave Desert. Costumes are required and you must be at least 18 years old at the time of the event to attend. Wasteland provides camping space, a 360-degree themed environment, entertainment and activities, vendors, and basic facilities. All tickets allow entry (with ins and outs) for all 5 days. We do not sell single day tickets. There are no additional fees for parking or camping. We will have an attendance cap in place for this year, and we do expect tickets to SELL OUT prior to the event. Please note: TICKETS WILL NOT BE FOR SALE AT THE GATE regardless of whether or not the event sells out. LOCATION: The event takes place at our permanent home in the desert, (known by some as "Wasteland Valley") outside California City (technically in Edwards, CA). Audience Role
We require costumes because we don’t want there to be a distinction between participants and onlookers (like there are at many other events). As for LARP (Live Action Role Playing), no, this is not intended to be a serious LARP gaming event. But we also don’t STOP people from doing LARP-type things if that’s how they want to have fun at the event and if it doesn’t negatively impact someone else’s experience.

About Wasteland Weekend
Join thousands of attendees coming from all over the the United States (and beyond) to gather in the Southern California desert for a five-day post-apocalyptic festival. Set up camp at our wasteland compound, surrounded by specially-built sets. Costumes are required and post-apocalyptic campsites and vehicles are encouraged. Live for five days in a world pulled straight out of the Mad Max movies and other post-apocalyptic films and games, beyond the grip of so-called civilization.
