Walk My World

No stage, no audience seats — everyone moves through the same space. Walk My World unfolds across a monumental 6,000 m² world where circus artists and dancers perform within arm's reach, and it is entirely up to you where to go, what to discover and whom to follow. The show retells the tragic love story of Aeneas and Dido from Virgil's epic, told in the language of contemporary circus and dance. Passing through the gates you enter richly built rooms where gods, mortals and creatures of myth surround you: hidden details, fierce battles, bustling crowds and demigods of the underworld. Power games, intrigue, deceit and love run through every corner, and each scene you stumble into reveals another secret — whether you peer into someone's private chamber or take a sip of the potion left on a table. Before you enter, audience coordinators give you a black theatrical mask to wear throughout. Putting it on turns you from spectator into observer: a traveller through the mythical world, present for the characters' most hidden moments but never part of the story yourself. The evening begins in the Chaos Bar with live music and cocktails, then the audience is drawn gradually into the world in staggered waves. Walk My World is created by the Hungarian contemporary circus company Recirquel under the direction of Bence Vági, whose cirque danse language fuses contemporary circus with modern and classical dance. The production premiered on 5 November 2025 and plays its final performance on 31 October 2026.
