Vallea Lumina

Follow cryptic radio transmissions and the trail of two long-lost hikers into a hidden valley near Whistler, where stardust is said to fall from the sky and old legends come alive. Sworn in as a deputy ranger at Cougar Mountain basecamp, you'll journey through nine illuminated story stations — a forest command post, an outpost, a field lab, sentinel trees, a campfire, and beyond — following clues that lead deeper into the wilderness. Created by Moment Factory, Vallea Lumina blends projection mapping, spatial sound, and interactive storytelling into a nighttime hike where nature and technology intertwine. The trail runs 1–1.5 km depending on season and takes roughly 30–60 minutes to complete. A free shuttle from Whistler Village is available (booking required).
