About UNCLE BARRY
UNCLE BARRY theatre company was formed through the Advanced Theatre Practice MA programme at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama by Mia Foster and Ariana Aragon, who collaborate with international, multidisciplinary artists on projects. UNCLE BARRY experiments with bold formats, site-specific performances, and audience interaction. Their first show, 'Uncle Barry's Birthday Party' was named one of the top five of Immersive Rumours’ 'Best Immersive Shows at Fringe 2025', praised for its unexpected emotional resonance and deft layering of humour and heart. The show debuted in London at Side/Step Festival 2025 and was further developed for Voidspace Live, and will be performed at Edinburgh Fringe Festival from 9th-17th of August. The company recently hosted a four-day immersive-theatre event in Portugal, ‘Edge of Eden’, and their upcoming club-inspired show called ‘PLEASE’ will be performed in London at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama on September 11th & 12th.
