TRUTH & MAGIC is a live concert experience centered on generating collective joy by blurring the lines between audiences & performers. THINK: Fuerza Bruta energy + Meow Wolf visuals + American Utopia concert = TRUTH & MAGIC Produced by NYC’s “finest funky disco kids,” Gentleman Brawlers, this approximately 90-minute interactive production will explore multisensory ways to recapture an intimate connection between artists and concertgoers, as well as transporting audiences to where music, dance, play, and nostalgia intertwine. Tap into your inner child, just say yes, and join us through the trippy haze of shared joy, leading up to a Gentleman Brawlers’ blastoff concert experience.

About Gentleman Brawlers
Gentleman Brawlers are a Brooklyn based performance collective, making music & experiences that move people to want to move with us. When Brooklyn collective Gentleman Brawlers performs, it's more than a concert: It's an electrifying experience. Led by creative duo Becca Fox and Matt Walsh, the group channels musical inspo Talking Heads with their distinct brand of Afrofunk and indie dance music. Through a sonic blend of disco-based horn lines, sticky highlife guitar, and polyrhythms from West Africa, Trinidad, and Brazil, GB’s live shows ignite a community-based, improvisational energy; in studio, they will often reimagine their songs through an EDM lens. Whether the audience is on the dance floor or pressing play, Gentleman Brawlers always delivers an exhilarating, celebratory experience. Acclaimed by the BBC’s Tom Robinson, NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest, and WNYC’s The Greene Space, GB has opened for Grammy artists Fantastic Negrito, Los Amigos Invisibles, and Cimafunk and performed at Pier 1/Summer on the Hudson, Dumbo's Live at the Archway series and The Public Theater’s Summer Block Party.
