Top of the Rock
Take in 360-degree views of New York City
Relive the iconic spirit of ‘Lunch atop a Skyscraper’ Did you know? The iconic 1932 photo depicting 11 ironworkers lunching precariously on a steel beam, 69 stories high, was taken right here during the construction of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. Follow in their fearless footsteps by buckling up for an exhilarating ascent above the deck. Top of the Rock’s three levels of indoor and outdoor observation decks deliver spectacular, unobstructed views of the city skyline. With terraces facing east, west, north, and south, Top of the Rock’s panoramic sights make it the ultimate observation deck in NYC. At the pinnacle of 30 Rockefeller Plaza’s 70 floors, it’s one of the top things to do in New York City.
Audience Role
The Beam ride is located outdoors, on the 69th floor of that building. It lifts people 12 feet above the observation deck and spins 180 degrees to give an unobstructed view of Central Park and the surrounding skyline.
