To The Bitter End Immersive Event - Main Image

All Good Things... By Bjarke Pedersen & Lizzie Stark Every relationship has to have an end. Join us for some drinks at our favorite East Village coffee shop, fall in love, and then let your heart break. It’s Better To Have Loved And Lost… In To the Bitter End you and a partner role-play the beginning, middle, and end of a romantic relationship. Over a series of scenes, your characters will meet, fall in love, and ultimately break-up. We’ll provide the drinks, you provide the drama. It lasts about two hours. Designed by a team whose credits include Inside Hamlet and Leaving Mundania, this larp debuted at the Future of Storytelling in 2018. This time, we’re taking over an entire coffee shop, providing drinks, and watching you and 20 other larpers go from the first blush of love to the wrenching, bitter end. Where: Thayer (99 Avenue B, 10009) When: Two runs, Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9. Both runs begin at 8:30 pm. The larp takes two hours. Cost: $95 (includes two drinks with tax and tip) Content Notices: Light physical contact (e.g. hand-holding), eye contact, role-play about romance and break-ups. You’ll play this with a partner, but can arrive alone! At sign up, choose between a partner ticket (for two) and a solo ticket (for one). If two solo ticket holders decide to pair up beforehand–no problem. Simply arrive together and you’ll play together. But remember: if you decide to play solo, we’ll pair you off with a stranger.
