Tito
An immersive and interactive adaptation of Mozart's La clemenza di Tito
Tito is performed in English and portrays an alternate America set in the near future. Audiences will join us as the White House press corps for a tour of President Flavia Tito's offices, witnessing public addresses and private moments as they make their way through the drama. When an attack is made on the President’s life, she turns to the press to determine her next move. Renegade Opera invites you to participate in this thrilling tale of love, power, and the choice between them. Tito is staged in the historic Cerimon House and makes use of the entire space. Audiences should be prepared to move between performance spaces (all of which are ADA accessible). Due to the intimate nature of this performance, masks are required for audience members. Tito includes depictions of offstage violence, strong language, and sexual tension.
