They Who Are Not There Present: The Veil Halloween Night, 1988 On Halloween night, they say the veil between the living and the dead grows thin. The gates of Ravenhurst have closed, but some things were never meant to stay behind them. This October, They Who Are Not There invites you to spend Halloween night in Park Hill, 1988—a neighborhood where children still trick-or-treat beneath porch lights, neighbors gather on their front steps, and old stories refuse to stay buried. Explore homes, gardens, forgotten corners, and whispered legends as something unseen begins taking root. Every resident has a story. Every house hides a secret. Every shadow may be trying to lead you somewhere—or warn you away. The Veil is not a maze. It is an open-world immersive horror experience where audiences are free to explore at their own pace. Wander the neighborhood, follow whichever characters intrigue you, uncover the mystery through conversation and observation, and piece together a story that changes depending on who you meet—and who finds you. No two journeys are exactly alike. Returning guests will discover new corners of a growing mythology, while first-time visitors can step into Park Hill with no prior knowledge. Every chapter of They Who Are Not There is designed to stand on its own while rewarding those who continue exploring the world beyond. Expect atmospheric environments, live performers, interactive storytelling, and cinematic horror inspired by Halloween folklore, ghost stories, and immersive theatre. ⸻ Event Details * Approximately 45-minute experience * Open-world immersive format * Original story and characters * Live actors and atmospheric scares * Recommended for teens and adults * Guests are free to explore at their own pace Whether you spend the evening listening to neighborhood gossip, searching abandoned gardens, following frightened residents, or wandering toward the house on the hill, every path reveals another piece of Park Hill’s story. About They Who Are Not There
They Who Are Not There is an immersive horror collective based in Westchester, NY, produced by Creatorscapes Productions LLC. Since 2016, we’ve been blending theatrical storytelling, interactive environments, and psychological horror to create original narrative experiences that invite audiences to step inside living nightmares. Our productions, ranging from haunted installations to full-scale immersive theatre, focus on emotional, story-driven fear rather than jump scares alone. Each show exists within an evolving shared universe of ghosts, dreams, and cursed history, culminating in this year’s flagship event, Requiem for Ravenhurst. We’re a small, passionate team of artists, designers, and performers dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what horror theatre can be.
