The Waterfront Journals is a site-specific outdoor performance of powerful monologues by artist-activist David Wojnarowicz, staged by ONE DAY THIS KID at Thames Barrier Park. This promenade piece weaves personal histories and queer narratives, exploring cruising, love, loss and resilience at the water's edge. ODTK will commission new responses from LGBTQIA+ Londoners, enriching an intergenerational conversation about queerness and community. Artists Nina Bowers & Tom Rasmussen. ODTK directors: Ellie Kendrick, Alex Lawther, and Hugh Wyld.

Audience Role

Walk with the piece through Thames Barrier Park as monologues unfold around you across the site; no direct participation required, but expect to be on your feet and moving between locations.
