A virtual choose-your-own-adventure journey through the realms of Hades.
This virtual quest is a complimentary event to The VORTEX Odyssey, providing broad access to an extraordinary online experience. The VORTEX Odyssey: Underworld allows our friends from around the country and around the world to be able to share in the magic of the Quest, while keeping The VORTEX alive from afar. In addition to being able to experience The VORTEX Odyssey Drive-thru experience through a virtual lens, we invite our virtual Voyagers into the under realm of the Gods. Let Charon guide you to Tartarus, the Asphodel Meadows, and the Elysian Fields where you will meet heroes, challenges, and even join Persephone’s Feast. Composed of pre-recorded and live experiences, audience members will interact with a rotating cast of VORTEX luminaries, of both local and national renown. Audience Role
The voyagers will enter the Gates of Hades, and from there will choose a path through Tartarus, the Asphodel Meadows, or the Elysian Fields. In each realm they will find an interactive opportunity with Cerberus, Tiresias, and Persephone. Along the way they'll explore unique, original content from the denizens of the Underworld.

About The VORTEX
The VORTEX creates and presents new, innovative performances—world premiere plays, operas, musicals, ritual theatre, and devised collaborations. The VORTEX transgresses conventional theatrical forms with multidisciplinary performances from diverse traditions. Music, film, dance, opera, aerial arts, puppetry, and performance art contribute to our vibrant theatre. We are an artist-owned and operated theater and have produced over 350 productions.
