The Time Travel Café

What The Time Travel Café is an immersive salon-style theatre experience reminiscent of the 1920's Parisian café culture and host to a wide variety of historical characters. Why The aim of The Time Travel Café is to facilitate meaningful experiences between audience and performer while illuminating the problematic nature of historiography; the stories of history leave so much out and at what cost? A select few audience members will be invited to engage in intimate moments with our historical figures, each has a unique problem requiring a solution. The audience is encouraged to assist the historical figure in finding a solution, whatever that may be... COVID-19 Policy: - As per the QLD Government guidelines as at 5-Jan-2021 venues are allowed to have up to 100 patrons per venue space. -We will keep customer contact details for a minimum of 30 days and a maximum of 56 days - We will collect and hold the following information from each patron for a minimum of 30 days: - full name - email address (or residential address if email not available) - phone number - the date and time period of visit (time in and time out). - Patrons are encouraged to maintain 1.5m spacing where possible. - Hand sanitiser will be available at all entry points and patrons will be encouraged to use it before and after interacting with the space.
