A Virtual Reality Experience with Live actors.
Adapted from CoAct Productions' award-winning immersive theatre show, this VR experience has been celebrated at the most prestigious festivals in the world while garnering multiple awards, including the 2022 No Proscenium Audience Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Live Virtual Reality Production. This psychological drama explores the parts of our mind that both help us and haunt us through the lens of a mental illness called Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), formerly known as multiple personality disorder. Audiences from all over the world may attend virtually from the comfort of their own home, as long as they have a Quest 2 or PCVR! We offer TWO experience types: PREMIUM- There is only ONE premium ticket available for each show time. This audience member will be the primary focus of the experience, playing the role of Alex. Participants in this category can expect a high level of interactivity. GENERAL- General audiences will serve as passive spectators of Alex's experience, playing the role of the alternate personalities within the personality system. While they will not interact with characters directly, they will be given unique opportunities to interact with and explore the space. Restrictions: - We recommend this experience for ages 16+. - People who suffer from epilepsy or vertigo should not attend this experience due to special sound and lighting effects. - This show DOES NOT depict actual traumatic events, but it does reference them. Those who have suffered from severe trauma may find this triggering. - In order to attend this production with a Premium or General ticket, you must have access to a Quest 2 or PCVR as the show is hosted on the VR Chat Platform.
Audience Role
The premium ticket holder will be the primary focus of the experience, playing the role of Alex. Participants in this category can expect a high level of interactivity. As it is in VR, there is no physical contact, however, Avatar contact is moderate and familial between Alex and their parents, played by actors. The general ticket will have no Avatar contact during the show, they will serve as passive spectators of Alex's experience, playing the role of the alternate personalities within the personality system. While they will not interact with characters directly, they will be given unique opportunities to interact with and explore the space.
