Our Signature Salons are the most memorable part of The Next Stage Immersive Summit, a place where real peer-to-peer connections are forged in the immersive & experiential arts. Now, we’re excited to announce that we’re bringing a standalone version of the salons to you that will go even deeper, with more chances and ways to connect. We’re kicking things off with a set of events this December focusing on “Immersive @ Play”: exploring how immersive experiences — from theatrical to fully immersive games — leverage the power of play, how audiences are reacting to having more agency in unexpected places, and the blurring lines between audience, players, and creators. The pilot episode of the standalone Next Stage Salon is an evening-length event: 7-10pm. Hear from our guests in the kickoff panel, connect with them during happy hour, and dive deeper in the peer-to-peer discussion pods. This session held at the Pasadena Playhouse’s bar space features complimentary beverages and limited capacity, with tickets at just $35 plus fees. Guests: Dawn Barber Shah (Global Experiences at Hasbro), Shelby Reilly (The 20-Sided Tavern), Ariel Rubin & Juliana Moreno (The Wild Optimists), Jason Carl (White Wolf, LA By Night), Kathryn Yu (The Immersive Experience Institute), Sam Roberts (IndieCade). and experience designer Tommy Honton (too many credits to reasonably list). Hosted by Noah Nelson.
