Enter a transmission station and choose the beast that calls to you. Answer its call through movement, helping shape its story and fate. Play hide-and-seek across a foggy flower field, puppeteer a horde of rat-humans, or sing karaoke in a borrowed body. For centuries, “gwoemul” have given shape to the unknown. Their chimeric form expands our imagination of what it means to be human. In BEASTS, these creatures are reimagined through the experience of the Korean diaspora as ever-changing combinations of bodies, cultures and histories. Here, identity and belonging are always in the making. Designed for visitors of all ages, BEASTS is a free, self-guided experience you can explore at your own pace. Follow one beast or all of them. Jump in and play, or simply watch the worlds unfold around you.
