An Immersive Real World Adventure Spawning In Dallas This September!
Minecraft Experience is an immersive, interactive adventure that uses large-scale projections, physical sets, music, sound, and lighting effects to bring the game world to life. The experience starts in the Welcome Lobby, where guests receive the Orb of Interaction, a personal device that enables each guest to interact with content on walls and surfaces throughout their journey. A regular ticket provides access to 11 unique spaces in the experience. Guests travel through multiple Minecraft biomes using their orb to chop down trees, collect and move resources, fight mobs, and more – all through physical gestures! The experience centers around a village rescue, a Minecraft-inspired mission that requires teamwork and quick thinking to complete. Groups of 25 navigate a blend of interactive displays, physical challenges, arcade elements, and escape room-like puzzles to complete the quest. People of all ages walk, punch, leap, and laugh their way through this unique experience together. Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is safe for children of all ages, however, the experience is designed for children aged 7 and up to fully participate. Like the game, some parts of the experience may be a little dark and spooky, but there is no explicit language, graphic violence or gore whatsoever, nor are there jumpscares. For reference, the original video game has a recommended PEGI rating of 7 and an ESRB rating of Everyone 10+. Anyone under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to enter. Children ages 2 and under do not need a ticket to enter. Please note, we are not able to accommodate strollers inside the experience. Any children unable to walk must be carried by their caregivers.
Audience Role
Much like the game, Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is intended for all types of guests to enjoy. It is considered a physical experience designed to fully immerse you in the Minecraft world through physical engagement. In addition to walking, the experience can include jumping, reaching up high and down low, throwing objects, and more. However, each guest can participate as much or as little as they like. Those who can’t sit still will be happy to dig into the exploration, and those who would rather watch will enjoy being a spectator.
