The Madness! (Mountain View Mausoleum)
You may wake up somewhere unfamiliar. You may be committed. You may want to escape before attenuation.
"The Madness!" is an original immersive experience from the creators of "Fangs!" and "MASQ!". Experience life as a patient at the Vespera Institute, where the nurses have a cult-like devotion to the "rules". "The Madness!" will run at Mountain View Mausoleum October 2 - November 7 Prepare to be separated from the people you came with and have a unique experience as you become a patient of the mysterious Vespera Institute. You may encounter performers one-on-one; you will traverse a world of haunted mansions and an abandoned church. Limited audience per show. Reserve early. Get a jump on Halloween! Following last year's sold-out run of "Noir!", our team is bringing the world premiere of our original production "The Madness!" to the spectacular Mountain View Mausoleum in Altadena. Get your tickets early for an unforgettable Halloween experience! Complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be offered before the show. Walking shoes and comfortable clothing are highly recommended. The experience will require walking across the large campus where the performance takes place. Warnings: The central theme of the play deals in grief, loss, life and death, and features scenes of murder, suicide, verbal abuse, xenophobic characters, pistols, knives and blood. There are strobing lights in one scene. Haze and loud sound cues are used during the show. Tickets non-refundable.
