THE LEVER: A Tethered Immersive Production

THE LEVER is a new immersive theater production by Tethered that delivers a high-stakes, multi-layered experience where your choices directly influence the balance of power and outcome of the story. Set during the tense Annual Report meeting of a troubled nonprofit organization, a hidden war between the city's elites and a burgeoning workers' resistance unfolds around you in real time. The production's historic venue is the Davenport Galbraith mansion – part of Erie Pennsylvania's famed "Millionaires' Row". An Immersive Experience This is not a traditional play where you sit passively in the dark. From the moment you cross the threshold, you are an active participant inside the walls of the exclusive Davenport Club. Upon your arrival, you will be given a bracelet if you are comfortable with the performers interacting with you. Then you're free to explore the first and second floors of the venue, follow characters, eavesdrop on backroom deals, collect evidence of corruption, or just sit back and enjoy the surrounding action. Parking and Entry We recommend parking in the free, private lot located next to First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. Guests must enter either through the glass vestibule on Myrtle Street or through the gated entrance on Sixth Street. General Admission The bar will be open for beverages for an additional fee.
