About Museum of Unnatural history Chicago

The Museum of Unnatural history Chicago (MUnCh) invites you to an anthrodecentric exploration of history through a series of interactive performances, interventions, and online writing. The Kingdom of Slovenalia is the current experience presented by MUnCh, which mixes the experience of a tour, a live show, and gameplay to guide audiences through a fantastical country. The MUnCh exists as a pseudo-structure; the works created for the MUnCh play with the persona of tour guide, lecturer, and docent to challenge the museum format and present objects and images that are loaded with alternate histories, from colonial botany to cryptic baking, from humor to horror.
