You have been hired by a strange organization with one simple mission: Your first assignment takes you inside the bedroom of June, a child who insists there is something living in her closet. Her parents think she is making it up. The company thinks her fear can be treated. This is not a show you sit back and watch. It is an intimate, story-driven experience for private groups, blending dark humor, horror, and emotional coming-of-age fantasy. Guests will move through the world, and take part in June’s attempt to confront the monster adults refuse to believe in. Part haunted house, part immersive play, and part childhood nightmare. Your participation is essential. The experience takes place at a private residence in Encino, Los Angeles. For privacy and safety, the exact address will be sent to ticket holders after purchase. Please do not share the address publicly. Private groups only. (1-2 guests at at time) Runtime: approximately 35–45 minutes.
Audience Role
Audience members become Temporary Fear Assistants inside The Institute of Fear Processing. They are guided through the experience as participants helping investigate a child’s closet monster, while slowly being asked to confront their own fear.

About Third Way Studios
Third Way Studios is a Los Angeles-based immersive theater company creating cinematic live experiences where audiences step inside the story. Our shows are built with purpose. Through horror, comedy, and intimate interaction, we create experiences that invite audiences to look at themselves, their fears, and the world around them in a different way. Our work blends film language, theatrical performance, themed environments, and guided audience participation to create stories that are lived, not watched.
