Created by Amit Lahav (Artistic Director of Gecko), The Deal is an immersive, promenade-style theatre experience where audiences move through a surreal reimagining of 1920s Paris. From shop-lined streets and buzzing jazz bars to bureaucratic office floors and dreamlike corridors, this production invites you into a darkly enchanting world of ambition, love and consequence. Inspired by literary greats like Faust and The Overcoat, the story follows Marcel, a quiet office clerk in love with his colleague Natalie. When a prestigious coat is promised to the best-performing employee, Marcel sees his chance to win her heart. But a mysterious tailor, Lucien, offers him a shortcut – one that could change everything. Will Marcel rise through merit, or give in to the temptation of something darker? Who will Natalie choose and what price will Marcel pay for his ambition?
