The Black Cat Hotel has changed hands. This Halloween, The Palace Theater's immersive Hotel returns under the care of new management — old money, impeccable manners, exclusively evening hours. Check in, receive the House Rules, and make your way room by room through live performances, hidden passages and increasingly questionable hospitality. Where last year's residents were nine lives haunting the halls, this season's staff keep later hours and a colder welcome: a host of vampires, holding court in the once-luxurious Bay Area residence. The show runs about 60 minutes; allow 90 minutes for the full experience. The staff are very much looking forward to having you. The Black Cat Hotel is an immersive theatrical experience, not an operating hotel. Overnight accommodation is not available, regardless of what the staff may tell you.

Audience Role
Performers appear suddenly, at close range, and may make physical contact with guests. Any guest who prefers not to be touched may say so at check-in and will be given something to wear that tells the staff to keep their distance; staff will observe it without exception.

There is no physically simulated sex in the performance, but the show does include an audio experience with some sexually charged sound effects.
