Zoom
Telephone
A gently interactive online performance, exploring the history of telecommunications
This is a mostly true history of telecommunications, universal and personal, with which I’ve always been a little obsessed. Written in this moment where we are now: a moment of fragility and connection and distance. It’s a directory of stories and games and conversations. And a magic trick. The Guardian - “An entrancing combination of storytelling and shared conversations" @finkennedy - “A beautiful, thoughtful and seriously smart piece of work. The best use of Zoom for live performance I've seen yet. Will be thinking about it for ages” @Franciska_E - “Food for the soul. Never thought I’d cry on zoom” @honorharger - "Theatre perfectly tailored to the times we live in now… also one of the most lovely interventions into lockdown I’ve experienced"
