Starfall Academy is a training academy for new Guardians of the Order of Light. During the initiation ceremony, each incoming student is sorted into one of five different Ordos, or Sects, within the Light. From there they are bestowed with the item most associated with Guardians, a Crystal Saber. Every student who walks through these hallowed halls experiences the excitement and joy of the start of a brand-new life; and the weight of leaving behind their previous life, career, and home planet to train and become Guardians who dedicate their lives to protect this galaxy. - We're currently finalizing our covid protocols for this year - In the past we have required vaccination and masking indoors and our team is lucky enough to have folks with professional experience making these calls. We always pay attention to what is going on trend-wise in our community and you are always encouraged to mask if you so chose to.
Audience Role
Starfall Academy is an immersive storytelling event known as LARP! LARP is an acronym for Live-Action Roleplay, which is an interactive experience where you take on the role of a character using theatrical techniques, costuming, and props. Yet, unlike theater, there is no script! You, along with everyone, experience and react to the actions and world around you. If you're worried, don't be! We have workshops to help get you comfortable with the experience, with our supportive staff and welcoming community.
