SECRET LOCATION emailed to ticket holders 😘 Who What Where Productions, a non-profit theater and film production company dedicated to producing new works in unusual spaces, is proud to present the world premiere of Ruthie Rado’s fearless, site-specific play, Spark. Paeton Chavis directs this wickedly funny queer rom-com, performed in a real Lower Manhattan sex club, elevated to kinky perfection by Production Designer Tristan Griffin. The play follows June, a newcomer to a seedy sex club, and Scotti, the club’s nonbinary security guard, as their budding romance is derailed by the club’s messy regulars. In Act 2, June has found her footing as the new manager of the club and reunited with Scotti, but can they forgive each other and walk polyamorously into the sunset? Spark is the queer, sex-positive rom-com 2023 needs.
