Welcome to The Wayward Outpost, a safe haven run by the rogue gambler Max. There is always something happening at this spaceport and this evening is no different. It is Max's birthday and all manner of galatic ruffians have gathered to celebrate including you! Come see the alien popstar Z's latest show and be tempted to run away with Claude's celestial circus. While you enjoy it all there are mysteries afoot. Who sabotaged the ship and will the engineer be able to fix it? Will the space pirate Grey stop running long enough to acknowledge their feelings for Max? It's up to you to explore the spaceport, create your own relationships, and answer these questions and more. This is an interactive immersive show that takes place entirely on Zoom. Audience will speak directly with the characters and through their questions and decisions they will determine the outcome of our show. You will need a desktop or laptop to fully experience the show as some elements will not function on the mobile and Chromebook version of Zoom. The show runs 2 hours.
Audience Role
The audience are coming to the online spaceport from where ever in the verse they so choose. Audience who want to go camera off and not interact or only use the zoom chat, may do so but this show is at it's best when you actively participate. If you have ever wanted to be a nosy gossip without consequences in the real world---you'll love immersing yourself in this role.

About Phoenix Tears Productions
At Phoenix Tears Productions we make weird theater. We put headphones on and perform audio dramas (immersive audio landscapes) by having audiences move around outside and follow physical actors through the story. We create murder mysteries populated by ghosts. We devise zoom based immersion for the pandemic ridden world. We perform our shows at Fringe festivals, Dragonfly Studio 129, and online. Our most recent works include Stardust Kingdom (2016), The War (2019), Recovery: a zoom based immersive show (August 29th & 30th 2020), and Infected: a horror audio drama (October 2020)
