SPACE DISCOVERY: An Immersive Journey into Space

“Space Discovery: An Immersive Journey into Space” combines fascinating space exploration history, immersive visual experiences, and interactive discovery activities into an impressive mission for the whole family. From a rocket launch to life on a space station to the distant planets of our solar system, the adventure of space comes to life in an emotional and accessible way. A journey through the history and future of spaceflight The tour begins with a fascination that has united people for millennia: gazing at the stars. Glowing constellations and historical star charts tell the story of how the observation of the stars gave rise to the desire to venture into space ourselves. Then the countdown begins: The staged rocket launch is followed by a view of Earth. Aboard the replica space station, guests discover how people live, work, and conduct research in space. Photographs, simulated views, models, and interactive stations bring daily life far from Earth to life. In the control center, the focus is on the ground crews and the technology behind a space mission. Here, visitors can even become designers themselves and create their own rocket. Another section leads to the Moon: The story of Apollo 11 and the view of Earth rising above the lunar horizon bring to life the fascination of one of the most significant chapters in space exploration. Among the special exhibits are a replica of the Moon Rover from the Apollo 17 mission and a replica of the A7L spacesuit from the Apollo space program. They make the technology behind the historic lunar missions tangible up close. A special highlight is the immersive journey through the solar system In the immersive experience room, a 20-minute presentation takes visitors on a journey through the vastness of our solar system. Visitors experience the vastness of space from unusual perspectives and immerse themselves in distant worlds. Large-scale imagery and simulated views are interwoven with the stories of the missions that have shaped our understanding of the universe. The result is a journey that combines scientific discoveries with the emotional power of multimedia presentation.
