Slanted Floors

Kaplan and Teddy live in a rent-controlled apartment downtown where they work, gossip, and dream. This one night, you’re invited into their home. This is a site-specific piece of theater, but it is not immersive. This means audiences will watch this show in a space designed as an apartment but will remain in their seats for the entire performance. Each audience member will have their own vantage, and moments are designed to not always be fully visible from every seat. Specific seat locations will be assigned based on tiers prior to each performance. This production contains partial nudity. Recommended for ages 14 and up. There is a strict, no late seating and no re-entry policy. The venue is located 6 steps up from ground level and there are sequences that require sustained listening and sitting in darkness.
