Sinners Live is not quite a concert — nor is it a play. It is a night that brings you inside a world — a 1932 Mississippi Delta juke joint, brought to life by live musicians, a full cast, Southern food and drink, and you, the audience who will travel into that time and place. In a conventional show, the audience sits in rows and watches the stage. In an immersive show, the audience moves through the space. They are inside the world — not watching it from the outside. For Sinners Live, that world is a 1932 Mississippi Delta juke joint — one night, before everything burns. Audience members arrive as guests. The cast are already in character when the doors open. Nothing is announced. There is no programme. The story happens around you, and sometimes to you. Blues and traditional Irish ballads — two musical traditions born from displacement, meeting in the same place for one night. Sinners Live takes over The Southern Depot — the open-air heart of Gillman Barracks. Tucked among the colonial-era warehouses of Singapore's arts enclave, this depot trades polish for character: exposed brick, warm string lights, and the low hum of a room built for music. It is the closest thing Singapore has to a 1932 Delta juke joint. Mississippi Delta, 1932. Twin brothers. A juke joint. Something old as the hills knocking at the door. Whatever happens tonight will change you forever.
