SALT (NYC) Immersive Event - Main Image

Witness a family's unraveling and choose a side. "SALT" is an immersive performance that enables audience members to experience a collapsing relationship through dance, theatre, and sound. Directed and choreographed by Mamie Green, writers Sammy Loren and Ellington Wells break open Euripide’s iconic tragedy Medea, and musicians Melissa Achten and Eli Klausner score the piece live. "SALT" first premiered in Los Angeles to sold-out shows and has since toured internationally to Cyprus and the UK. Volta is thrilled to bring this work to The Brooklyn Center for Theatre Research, introducing it to NYC audiences for the first time!
