About ARTECHOUSE NYC

It’s dark. It’s deep. It’s alive. And it’s weird. Twilight Zone: Hidden Wonders of the Ocean invites visitors to descend beneath the ocean’s surface and explore one of Earth’s largest and least-understood habitats. Created by ARTECHOUSE Studio in collaboration with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, the exhibition transforms groundbreaking ocean research into a visually stunning experience blending digital art, interactive technology and an original musical score. At its center is a 24-minute immersive cinematic journey inspired by diel vertical migration—the largest daily animal migration on Earth. Seven interactive installations and six extended-reality activations further explore bioluminescent creatures, environmental DNA, sonar technology, ocean robotics and the twilight zone’s vital role in marine ecosystems and climate regulation. The exhibition opens September 19 at ARTECHOUSE NYC, located inside Chelsea Market, and runs through November 16, 2026.
