Richard III

Immersive production featuring Shakespeare's greatest villain at a historic mansion in the Bronx

Richard III Immersive Event - Main Image

In RICHARD III, a ruthlessly ambitious man embarks on a merciless campaign of conquest, disinformation, assassination, seduction, and domination fueled by fantasies of absolute power. Join us for an immersive journey throughout the beautiful rooms and grounds of Bartow-Pell Mansion-Museum as a villain carves a bloody path to power – and his subjects slowly awaken to the threat he represents. Most performances of RICHARD III will allow the audience to choose their own adventure throughout the mansion, including up to the second floor. However, our 2pm matinee performances on June 18 and 25 will utilize only the large parlor on the ground floor, and will not involve audience movement. Guests who prefer not to climb stairs or move about the house during performances may prefer to attend one of these special one-room matinees. The cast includes Tal Aviezer, Sean Coffey, Yannik Encarnação, Amy Frey, Ed Friedman, Selina Hernandez, Hilary Kelman, Kelly Kirby, Larry Reina, Misti Tindiglia and Kenneth Laboy Vazquez. It will be stage managed by Mikaela Blanchard.
