Return of the Radiation

The second self-guided escape room mural game! (No fees, no time limit, no GM, yes fun.)

Oh no! You fell asleep in your rocket's cryochamber, and flew past your exit. The ship seems to be malfunctioning due to a chemical spillage - you must log back into the mainframe and correct course to deliver a cure sample for the deadly Green Radiation to aliens who desperately need it. Find the password - access the mural via the Northwest parking garage stairwell. Option 1: Ask a student who lives there to let you into the building, and message @dorm.scapes on Instagram for hints. Option 2: Email me at tylerneufeld03@gmail.com to set up a specific time to play. I will let you directly into the stairwell (though ironically, I also have to enter the sketchy way) and will act as a GM on standby for hints, should you need them. Hope you might consider giving this unconventional escape room a shot next time you're in L.A.! - Tyler

About Dorm Scapes

Dorm Scapes was founded as a student org at UCLA by Tyler Neufeld in 2024 with the sci-fi game "Code Green" located in his dorm. Since then, it has grown to offer 5 games, including 2 free, public escape room murals called "Return of the Radiation" and "Don't Bring Your Zombies to Work" a digital/Zoom version of "Code Green." Additional experiences include puppet adventure "The Great Stanford Squirrel Scandal" and original climate-existentialist escape-play "Escape! The Great Specific Garbage Catch." Dorm Scapes is committed to using found and recycled materials to create accessible and affordable twists on the escape room medium for student communities and beyond.
