About Resilience 2032
2032 is staging an intervention for 2020! Resilience 2032 is bringing to life a fictional future to catalyze action in the present. Come claim your agency to shape the future as part of this collective exercise in futures thinking. Fast forward 12 years. We thought 2020 was an anomaly, but it was a tipping point. We're now facing disruptions in food systems due to climate change, and the frequency of natural disasters continues to increase. New technologies like driverless vehicles, lab meat, and automation systems have created solutions to all kinds of problems, but as a result of systemic inequality, the wealth gap has only continued to widen. It's been a difficult decade of economic turmoil and partisan division preventing progress, but big changes for the 2032 election have brought a resurgence of hope! Thanks to ranked-choice voting, for the first time in history an independent candidate actually has a shot at the presidency. Indigenous Latinx Woman, Sage Moore, is the candidate we've been waiting for! One who actually puts communities before corporations. She knows that those closest to the problem are also often closest to the solution, which is why she leverages technology to actively include her constituents in policy decisions. That's why Moore has teamed up with Disquisitiv, a collective that formed to re-imagine democracy for the 21st century by creating a space for people to share their perspective and leveraging technology to facilitate productive discussions that lead to solutions. Every Saturday we'll host Disquisitiv LIVE, a weekly talk show where our cast and guests share their perspective on the current events of 2032 and the upcoming election. Then, you're invited to claim your agency to shape our future by joining a Disquistiv community event, where you and your fellow global citizens will need to work together to find consensus on what action should be taken.
