A Conference which celebrates live performance in virtual, augmented and mixed realities.
The PXR Conference, hosted by Single Thread Theatre, is a series of interactive presentations, discussions, and performances by Canadian and international creators on how they are using virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality (collectively known as XR) in the creation of live performance. This innovative hybrid-format conference takes place both in a custom-built and interactive VRChat world, and in-person across Canada (Kingston, Toronto, and Vancouver). Your conference pass grants you access to 20+ unique events, presentations, and socials. Experience a conference unlike any other—between our in person hubs and digital realms, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn, share, and socialize with fellow artists and technologists.
Audience Role
Our attendees are welcome to engage with the presenters, as well as our bespoke VR environments, as much, or as little as they wish.
