Provenance is an immersive narrative experience for one to two people. Sitting in the dark, you are invited to engage your surroundings by touch, fitting pieces together and becoming part of the story as it unfolds. Follow the voice of a girl who finds a mysterious artifact stolen by birds, and join her adventure as she sets out to discover its true home. Living somewhere between the worlds of interactive fiction, audio play, and escape room, Provenance is an exploration of darkness, a journey of discovery, and a meditation on finding where things belong. *Provenance will be presented on the 4th Floor of the cell. It is accessible to children 8+ with adult supervision.
Audience Role
This experience involves no actors and no movement. Audience will be seated throughout, on their own. The experience begins in darkness but slowly brings in light. Audience will fit pieces into a puzzle while answering yes/no questions in response to the audio play.
