Postcript: An Immersive Epilogue 6 months after the initial run of “We Should Meet in Air”, revisit the lives of two artists in this solo immersive phone experience. Once upon a time, two women lived very similar lives, and walked the same road, even though they lived decades apart from each other. This is the story of the road they both walked, and of the crossroads which finally separated them. Postscript is a live, over-the-phone interactive experience designed for one audience member at a time. A true epilogue to the immersive experience We Should Meet In Air, this 20-minute immersive experience returns the audience member to Stepy Kamei's brilliantly crafted and penetrating look into the idea of what it means to be an artist and find yourself at the precipice of erasure. Note: It is highly recommended audience members experience the previous telephone experience, We Should Meet in Air, before this epilogue, and we are pleased to offer that option. For those who have not yet seen WSMIA (or wish to experience it again!), you may purchase a ticket which includes both experiences back to back. If you have already seen WSMIA, you can just purchase a ticket for Postscript. In 2022, They Played Productions has begun working with other creators to bring new immersive works to audiences as producers and collaborators. Postscript is the second of these new projects (which we call “Inventions.”) It is a collaboration between They Played Productions and Nothing in the Dark Productions, Kamei’s production company. They Played Productions is proud to be helping produce Kamei’s work and is thrilled to have this exceptional piece of entertainment as its first Invention.
