Whether you are a new employee, prospective client, or poential investor we are excited to have you plug into our system and learn what Posthumous is all about. This is an interactive immersive show done entirely on Zoom. Audience participation is highly encouraged as your choices will change the story and affect the outcome. detailed description: Posthumous is a show about the afterlife in a world where dying is the beginning of a journey into a digital utopia. You as an audience member are visiting on of those digital afterlife’s head quarters. At this company called Posthumous you’ll be either a new employee or potential investor ready to learn everything there is to know. After being plugged into the system you’ll follow one character through a two and a half hour experience where you’ll be in full control of the story. As an audience member you discover the secrets of Posthumous and work to either uphold their mission or destroy it. This show is immersive theater in the traditional definition of being “a play you play”. Your interactions with the characters will lead the show to one of over 10 endings as well as change how your day at Posthumous goes. Reminders and Zoom links will be sent the day of show.
Audience Role
At every performance we need audience members to interact either by speaking, having their video on, discussing with other players, or making in universe decisions. If an audience member would like to be less involved we recommend attending with another person so you can make a decision as a team while muted and one person can act as a spokes person for your computer (maximum 2 audience members per screen)

About Phoenix Tears Productions
At Phoenix Tears Productions we make weird theater. We put headphones on and perform audio dramas (immersive audio landscapes) by having audiences move around outside and follow physical actors through the story. We create murder mysteries populated by ghosts. We devise zoom based immersion for the pandemic ridden world. We perform our shows at Fringe festivals, Dragonfly Studio 129, and online. Our most recent works include Stardust Kingdom (2016), The War (2019), Recovery: a zoom based immersive show (August 29th & 30th 2020), and Infected: a horror audio drama (October 2020)
